Intro: This Taiwanese series of 2005 I believe replaced Meteor Garden as 'Taiwan's Popular Idol Drama' when its rating defeated that of Meteor Garden. The story is about a rich guy Shun Jun Hao (Ming Dao) who loses his memory and ends up in a small village with Ye Tian Yu (Joe Chen). There, he adopts the name "Dang O". Thus, begin the light-hearted and fairytale-like romance between a rich guy and a poor girl.
This part was when Ming Dao tried to stop Sam Wang from selling Senwell hotel to the bad guys. I thought it was a little weird for Cyndi to recognize who really was the one that cared for her all along in that scene. Joyce Zhou looks beautiful as the bride.
I got really mad here. It's like out of no where a bullet (??) hit Joe Chen's head which ruined the sweet little scene the couple was sharing. Hmmmp!
Joe Chen pretended to lose her memory to make Ming Dao suffered the pain that she had endured. A little silly and out of order but I guess all the romantic scenes made up for that.
The happy ending! It was super cute when they swore to love each other and then gave one another an object in place for a ring..... BTW, Can someone tell me what does it say on the heart? The second line says "Mong Dep Thanh That" (Beautiful Dream comes True) right?
Comments: I was glued to the tv when I watched this drama. It's very light-hearted and sometimes childish but the actors and actresses did a great portraying their roles. Ming Dao, omg...this guy...melts my heart whenever I see him onscreen. With his thick and dark eyebrows, Ming Dao's eye expression is very strong and convincing. He was equally magnetic even when he was Dang O/Shun Jun Hao. My BEST Taiwanese actor! Joe Chen, this girl can cry!! I read on a forum that she wasn't supposed to cry that scene on the roof but she felt so into the character that tears started to roll down. Impressive isn't it? Sam Wang, I pitied his character for loving Tian Yu and Yun Xi (Joyce Zhou) because both girls had their eyes for Ming Dao for almost the entire series. Same Wang's character is like a replacement. Nevertheless, his ending is satisfied with his new haircut (refresh!) and of course when Joyce finally recognized his love for her. On the other hand, Ming Dao and Joe Chen's chemistry is unbelievable sweet, romantic and strong. I loved them together!

hey i just noticed that you made a mistake. cyndi wang is not in prince turn to frog. the actress who plays yun xi is called joyce zhao hong qiao. she and joe chen qiao en are both in a group of 4 girls called 7flowers.
Oh yea! Thanks Anonymous. I knew the girl but maybe I was thinking of "WestSide Story" when I wrote the article. =)
